3. Type, legal basis, scope, and purpose of personal data processing
Facebook Ireland Ltd. processes personal data when you use Facebook products and therefore also when you visit the WERK II Instagram page. This data is also processed if you are not logged into any Facebook services. Facebook describes in detail what personal data is collected, for what purposes, how it is processed, and on what legal basis in its data policy (https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875?helpref=page_content), which applies to all Facebook products. There you will also find information about settings for advertisements, cookies, etc. Furthermore, the contact options for Facebook are also provided there. Data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EU. For more information about the cookies that Instagram sets when you have an Instagram account, use Facebook products (including the website and apps), or visit other websites and apps that use Facebook products (including the “Like” button or other Facebook technologies), please refer to Facebook's cookie policy (https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/). Information on how you can manage existing information about you can also be found at this link: https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies/.
When you visit the Instagram page of Werk II, Facebook collects your IP address, among other things. Together with further information obtained through cookies, Facebook provides Werk II, as the operator of the Instagram page, with statistical information about the use of this Instagram page. This is aggregated data, known as page insights, which shows how users interact with the page. These Page Insights (https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/information_about_page_insights_data) may be based on personal data collected by Facebook in connection with a visit or interaction by users on or with the Instagram page of Werk II and its content. Facebook provides more detailed information on this here: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy. WERK II can use these page insights to anonymously evaluate page views, the time spent on video posts, actions (likes, comments, sharing of posts), reach, as well as age, gender, and location (if provided by the user in their respective Instagram profiles). Appropriate filters can be set for the evaluation with regard to the selection of a time period, the viewing of a specific post, and demographic groupings. This data is anonymized, aggregated, and abstracted. These settings do not allow WERK II to draw any conclusions about individuals. The evaluation serves to optimize the content on WERK II's Instagram page for marketing purposes.
The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. WERK II, as the provider of the WERK II Instagram page, does not collect or process any other data from the use of the Instagram page.
4. Data subject rights
You have the right to request information about your personal data stored by Werk II free of charge in accordance with Art. 15 (1) GDPR. In addition, you have the right to correct (Art. 16 GDPR), delete (Art. 17 GDPR), and restrict the processing (Art. 18 GDPR) of your personal data if the legal requirements are met. If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) e) or f) GDPR, you have a right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. If you object to data processing, it will not take place in the future, unless the controller can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for further processing that outweigh the interests of the data subject in objecting. If you have provided the processed data yourself, you have the right to data portability in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR. If data processing is based on consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) a) or Art. 9 (2) a) GDPR, you may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out to date. In the aforementioned cases, if you have any questions or complaints, please contact the data protection officer at WERK II and Facebook Ireland Ltd in writing or by email.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the data protection supervisory authority of the federal state in which you reside or in which the controller is based, as well as the Irish Data Protection Commission (responsible for Facebook Ireland Ltd.).
