The non-linear format adaptation for advertisements, labels and posters
All of the target formats (different heights and widths) are created automatically on the basis of a template.
The non-linear format adaptation of InDesign® documents is a special application of automated publishing. For example, these must be created for advertisements, labels, posters, etc. for all target formats (due to varying heights and widths) on the basis of a template. This functionality is also used in the automated creation of in-store communication.
Format adaptation can be carried out automatically with the priint:adjust InDesign plugins and a number of adaptation rules. These functionalities are frequently integrated as back-end functions in marketing portals on the InDesign desktop or via the InDesign server.
The priint:adjust adaptation rules can also be combined with the database publishing functions of the priint:comet InDesign plugins.
