Automatic Generation of Dimensional Drawings with the priint:suite

Creating precise dimensional drawings for product variants often involves considerable manual effort – particularly for series with variable pole numbers, as found in many WAGO products. In this presentation, Artur Wozniak Feldmeier and Christian Guski will show how this process can be fully automated with the priint:suite.
Based on generative rules—such as length and distance formulas that depend directly on the number of poles—true-to-scale, product-specific graphics are generated automatically. The required values are taken from the PIM and incorporated into the generation process without manual intervention.
Customers of the online catalog receive the exact dimensional graphic for their desired product instead of a generalized representation for a product family. At the same time, creation efforts and sources of error are significantly reduced.
