Data foundation for GenAI projects, digital product passport, efficiency gains and cost reduction – how the print automation project at fischerwerke created added value far beyond the original project goal.

In this presentation, Jan Rüger (fischerwerke) and Nico Loos (Accenture) will provide insights into the steps fischerwerke took in its label and packaging automation project to achieve these goals.

 

Jan Rüger

Jan Rüger graduated from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Information and Knowledge Management. He then worked for 16 years at INTERSPORT Deutschland eG in various areas (Marketing, IT, Sales, and Controlling). During this time, he was responsible for the introduction and operation of the PIM system and the associated print solution, among other things. He has been with the fischer group since 2019. He started there as Product Owner for the introduction of the new PIM and print solution and then oversaw the management of Product Data Management in Marketing.

Nico Loos

Nico Loos brings in-depth expertise in media production and automated publishing solutions. After studying Printing and Media Technology, he took on project management tasks in the field of Media Production. Since 2018, Nico Loos has worked as a Senior Business Consultant and Project Manager, where he supports customers in optimizing their media production processes. He advises and coordinates from the planning to the implementation phase and provides support long after commissioning to ensure sustainable and satisfactory advertising material production.
