Steffen Meier completed an apprenticeship as a publishing bookseller at the Ernst Klett publishing houses and then studied history in Stuttgart, worked for daily newspapers and managed the editorial department of a city newspaper. At the specialist publisher Eugen Ulmer, he took over the development and management of the online publishing division from the turn of the millennium. He then headed the product innovation and marketing departments at a software provider in Dortmund. Since 2016, he has been the founder and publisher of "DIGITAL PUBLISHING REPORT," a media platform for the media, communications and marketing industry.
