Assist in the conception and implementation of customer-specific adaptations and enhancements to priint:suite components (our software products). Additionally, design and configure interfaces to third-party systems such as PIM or MAM. Collaborate on national and international projects in the field of publishing, participate in workshops, and document them appropriately. Perform functional tests for individual customer requirements and create system documentation, installation instructions and operating manuals.

Estimate the effort necessary for configuration and implementation, train users and administrators, and assist in optimizing processes – allowing also for the opportunity to work independently and contribute your own ideas.

The ideal candidate for this position will hae completed training as an IT specialist or media designer and have several years of professional experience in software development, technical consulting, print publishing or e-commerce. Additionally, candidate must have a good understanding of the industry and the technologies used.

Must be proficient in using scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python and have knowledge of Java, C, XML, XSLT or web services. Candidate must also be familiar with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Experience in digital prepress, especially in DTP, is also important.

Knowledge of business processes in the technical trade, mail order, or industrial sectors, as well as experience with database publishing, is highly desirable.

Candidate must have excellent written and spoken English skills, a willingness to travel, high quality awareness, and a strong commitment to their responsibilites. Must be about to work independently, analytically, and conceptually, and be both communicative and persuasive. Teamwork, a strong sense of responsibility, and flexibility are necessary for this role.
