Akeneo Unlock in Paris
Our eventful year started in March with the Akeneo Unlock in Paris. Besides the highlight for the visitors that our priinti became the Mona Lisa, we were able to gather great new impressions and meet plenty of people.
A special highlight was the joint presentation with our customer Melchioni Electronics. For those who missed the presentation, we also have our Success Story for download.
Adobe Summit Las Vegas
While the European team has just returned from Paris, our American colleagues traveled to Las Vegas for the Adobe Summit. There, priinti helped out diligently and experienced a lot together with the colleagues during the two days.
Product Data Pilots in Cologne
After we started with the Product Data Pilots roadshow in Munich in November 2022, we moved on to Cologne in March. In a pleasant get-together with hmmh, Retresco, OneDot, Contentserv and us, the Product Data Value Chain was presented: from data preparation to processing, enrichment and playout options. With exciting questions we went into networking.
Our partnership was not neglected, as our companies took a guided tour of the city together in the evening hours and successfully completed the "Kölsche Diplömschen".
Of course, one event was our highlight this year: the 11th priint:day in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
Many hours of work, including discussions, organization and content-related topics, came to an end. We welcomed over 350 participants to the City Hall and enjoyed presentations on the topics of AI, Future of Creativity, Product Experience and more.
Behind the scenes, not everything went smoothly, but we were able to take away some feedback and know where we can still improve. Of course, after priint:day is always before priint:day: One day after priint:day, there was already the first preliminary discussion for the next one. So block out September 17 & 18, 2024 in your calendar - we'll see you there again in Mülheim an der Ruhr!
Seemingly still on the priint:day, came the day on which our team had to split: The OMR 2023 and the PIMpoint Europe of inriver fell on the same day.
The OMR already started the evening before over the roofs of Hamburg. Pimcore invited to the pre-event and gave insights into Pimcore 11. In a cozy atmosphere with a great view over the city, we had a delicious meal and interesting conversations before we went to the conference the next day.
Our colleague then spent two days at the OMR to experience the latest trends in digital marketing. In addition to many exciting presentations, partners and friends were also visited at their booths, such as forbeyond and inriver.
PIMpoint 2023 also began above the roofs, but of Malmö in the offices of Diamir Consulting. The evening before, there was already the opportunity to get to know each other and network. At PIMpoint itself, in addition to many product innovations, there was a special focus on the topic of sustainability, i.e. how PIM can contribute to more sustainable management and consumption. For example, it was shown how PIM can improve the transparency and traceability of products and product data, leading to more trust and loyalty among customers.
Print & Digital Convention
Home game: After the team was back in Duisburg, it was just one city away this time to the Print & Digital Convention from f:mp in Düsseldorf. Under the umbrella of the Programmatic Print Alliance, we exhibited together with other members. Of course, there was one thing we couldn't miss: We promoted SIMIO's study "Rethink.Print." to experts in the field of printing and publishing and received some encouragement that the study results are also relevant for the industry.
From the flat landscape in Düsseldorf, we drove to the mountainous Sauerland. Our partners nexoma and valantic invited us to the alpine pasture and together with other partners, such as Akeneo and Contentserv, there was a colorful program on the topic of product data management. Our CEO, Horst Huber, started the spring cleaning and explained what it has to do with digital print and why it all ties in with product data.
The crowning finale was the BBQ buffet with joint networking, where we not only exchanged ideas with the guests, but also cultivated partnerships.
Product Data Pilots in Hamburg
After the stop in Cologne, the Product Data Pilots Roadshow went to the last destination in Hamburg. Over the course of the three stops, we learned more and more about how to play together, how to present a great product data value chain with supporting technologies and, above all, worked with a great team.
Therefore, we are pleased that after joint discussion, the next stage is already being planned with a few changes in one or the other place and hopefully we will see each other soon in the next city.
K5 – The Future of Retail
Together with our partner Laudert, we spent two days in Berlin at the K5 and had great visits at the booth. Thereby the conversations were often directly on a professional level and with many interesting aspects.
In addition to the joint stand, we were also able to invite our customer SSI Schäfer Shop. Ulrich Gursky joined Sebastian Hardung and Thorsten Hamann on stage to talk about the topic "print" - and that also in retail.
But at such a big event we were also able to meet many other familiar faces, such as ones from Akeneo, hmmh, XPLN, Parsionate or even Mirakl.
In the evening between the days of the event, we went on a big boat trip. Our partner SQLI invited us to a joint Boats Adventure Night. We went together on the Spree and with delicious food and drinks we could exchange ideas and have great conversations.
The travel time has come to an end. So while one team was still on the road in Berlin, our managing director didn't miss the opportunity to travel to SDZeCOM's anniversary event.
For us, Update 2023 had the overall theme "News from the priint lab". Those who already know Horst Huber's lectures are not a bit surprised that we take such titles very literally. For this reason, a real laboratory was set up live and, with the help of colleagues from SDZeCOM, the secrets from the priint lab were revealed. Some priinti gummy bears were also diligently produced, which were only available exclusively for the anniversary.
After Update 2023, we are also looking forward to going on another roadshow with SDZeCOM and Contentserv.
